DOVE x REFINERY29
In 2020 Dove came to Refinery29 for a global content program that supports their Self Esteem Project.
For the Canadian execution, we created 3 digital features that explores how self esteem intersects with the important themes of parenthood, gender, and race. Each feature leveraged the real voices of women across Canada, and combined archival/self shot imagery with custom design treatments to create an authentic and intimate content atmosphere. Through these features, we heard honest accounts of navigating beauty as a mixed race woman, the experience of a second puberty for trans and non binary individuals, and the reflection that Millennial mothers have on their own experience as adolescent women.
